He's Crawling Now!

Boo is crawling now; not just his little "army crawl" but an honest to goodness, hands and knees, my life is about to get a whole lot faster, crawl. This evening I was playing with him on the floor with his favorite new toy, another Once Upon a Child find, and had to go to the bathroom. He seemed to be distracted so I decided to chance it and make a run for it.

This is a big thing because we have hit the "oh no, mommy is leaving me forever" stage. I was so excited to be able to take my time in the restroom without hearing him screaming for me in the other room that I was surprised by a new sound. It didn't sound like a cat, but there was something moving on the hardwood floor. I quickly finished and peeked around the corner; he had started to follow me. I apparently had not been as sneaky as I thought. When he noticed I was watching him from around the corner he got the biggest smile on his face and tried even harder to get to me. It's the little things like this that put a smile on my face and make the days worth while.
