Can You Splash?

This isn't new but it always brings a smile to my face. It is one of my favorite videos of Boo.

Now that I think about it, this was probably not the smartest thing to teach him but that's how it goes. I have noticed as he has gotten bigger and bigger that the cycle of teaching a child is all about teaching them new things then telling them they can't do what they just learned.

Can you splash? Good Boy! No, don't splash mommy!

Can you throw? Good Boy! No, don't throw the ball in the house!

Can you climb? Good Boy! No, don't climb on the furniture!

How confusing it must be to be a toddler learning how to be a big boy in a big world.
